I have a few blogs on it and I love it. Beats Blogger to holy hell. It does take some getting used to, though. Go to Presentation and play around with the given themes (just plug it in and it does all the work for you). http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/ is the direct URL. As for the pinging, anything you want to ping every time you update, paste the URL in Options: Writing under "Update Services". Note - the more you have in there, the longer it will take to post. You may want to check on settings in wordpress for that... blogger lets me configure whether or not it pings certain services. I imagine WP may do the same thing. Well, then, how about this?
