Holy Crap!
Baby #2 comes in 12 days.
11 by the time you read this, I suspect.
It just sort of struck us this weekend… Everything’s about to change again, again. At least this time we’ve got an awesome, brilliant little 4 year old helper, and at least I won’t have to cart everyone up in the mornings until April / May so we potentially won’t be bundled to the hilt, which always makes it so much more… less fun.
Lots going on.
I’m taking classes at TUI University; working on a BS in Business Administration, and, knock on wood, all grades have an A attached to them. I’m planning my trip to the IA Summit in the middle of April, holding off my thoughts on getting the Certified Usability Analyst from Human Factors until later in the year, maybe. I keep saying that, but I’ve got so many plans for things to undertake this year… Creating my own pattern library for ME–not for an employer, creating presentations around what it is that I do, and why it’s important (hahahahahaha!) and presentations about how to build effective communities for your website, assuming that your website is worthy of a community… but then again, aren’t they all if you’ve got enough money?
Exactly.
But, how do I plan all that and start to consider a Masters program next year when I’ve not even got the new pooping/eating machine in the house?
No idea. I just don’t sleep a lot.
This baby… should be so much different. Nicolle may actually get a lot of sleep at the hospital since Sydney and I won’t be able to sleep over, and maybe that will be for the best for her. Some peace and quiet while she recovers. Dunno.
I’m more scared of having a boy now that we’ve got a pink room! I’ll post pictures, I promise! And for what it’s worth, I’ve been spending my days at UserGlue lately, and I owe myself more writing there, as well, when I’m not busy preparing for taxes and babies and the next 4 papers for school.
