Good Lord. It has been years since I put in unrealisticexpectations.com into my browser... and I'm seriously glad that I did. Rusty, you probably don't even remember that kid Jess from a million years ago but I'm definitely still around. Anyway, congratulations on the new baby. Avery is BEAUTIFUL.

She's a tall, smart girl.

Just today she pointed out an armadillo to me, and I asked her, "Where the heck did you learn what an armadillo is?"!

All I can say is that... she's smarter than me. She asked if a small boat was a gondola and I had to rack my brain to remember what that was, too!

She's big, smart, sassy...

I feel sorry for the first guy she dates. But then again, I should probably thank him, because then she'll probably start talking to me again!

Aw, Sydney is getting so big! And look at your growing family! I skimmed over the photos and particularly like one of the photos of Sydney swimming.

User Experience is a very cool field indeed.

As the infomus Richard Pryor would say is "Preach nigga, preach". To many ignorant morons roam the lands of this once wonderful country. I personally think that well its been far to long for african american people to still be butt hurt about these words and "White" peoples actions. Me beign hispanic I dont find it offensive if some one calls me a "beaner". I laugh and keep on truckin. But people still wanna complain about something that happened over so long ago. Look at Jewish people and the Germans, they are in great terms and even trading military equipment amongst each other, And the Germans tried to kill off the Jewish not enslave em. People should grow up and be more understanding about how the world has evolved around us. It seems that the only places that stay the same is the U.S. and parts of the Middle East. The rest of the world has grown up and moved out of the attention hungry parents phase. So in conclusion Preach on dude preach on.

PS- in addendum to my other comment - the color of the drop makes me think of water, not glue. The orange in the other logos might be more glue-like.

Happy birthday.

I like the concept of the logo... and for particulars, I like the top row, right logo the best for its simplicity. Plus, its 2-color, which if you venture into print, is nice and easy. The one you posted above is nice, but the "gl" is a bit odd. You angled the L, which I guess makes sense if its bleeding into the drip. But I'd mirror it and angle the R to match if you want it that way.
The proportions on the G are a little distracting, they draw my eye in almost too much, keeping me from reading the logo and tagline. The top pg the G should be a little longer and the bottom a little less so. The filled in drops were also a nice effect. For what I mean - Hacked together in photoshop.
Just my $.02 cents as a fellow designer stuck in a programmers world.
